Hi everyone! (:
Today I got to experience three site visits(schools) in Slovenia. I am remarkably fascinated by their education system and how the curriculum of each school is. The first site I had visited today was Vodmat Kindergarten. Vodmat services children from as young as 1 years old up to 6 years old. I love learning about new schools and getting to see the children. The one thing that I really liked was the play base areas within the classrooms. They had climbing areas structured like a tree house. I think that the United States should have that because a lot of times children in my preschool often climb and jump off things. I feel like implementing this material in the classrooms would be super beneficial. Another thing I noticed was how wonderful and spacious their play area is in Slovenia. I feel the play area at my preschool is quite small. I wish we had more space to have children run around and play back in the States.
