Biotechnical Educational Center
The second site visit I went to in Slovenia was the Biotechnical Educational Center. This is a secondary school. Students have the choice at 14 years old to either go to gymnasium or this institute (biotech). I have learned that the students I have come in contact with from Slovenia went to gymnasium. Most students that want to study at the University level go to gymnasium. Others, go to the biotech school where they learn professional work to become a baker or a vet tech. Here students learn professional work along with general studies. My favorite part about the tour was seeing students in their natural element bak
