Site 2: Counseling Center

The second site we visited today was The Counseling Center for Children, Adolescents, and Parents of Ljubljana. We got to listen to professionals talk about what the center offers. It was very interesting to listen to. I also really look up to everyone who works at this site. There is so much work that they take on and, even though they can not accept every child/adolescent who wants/needs counseling at one time, they still have a lot of clients that receive it. The families that want services don’t have to pay for it- so there is a long wait list. This is unfortunate, but there is not much they can do to change it. They are doing everything they can to make sure everyone receives what they need as so as they can.
