Our overnight trip to Croatia was a success! Pula was a beautiful city with rich history, although it was also a little crowded and did not have the same comfortable, safe feeling that Slovenia gave me. We stopped in Motovun for a few hours and the view from the top of this mountain city was breathtaking. Unfortunately, it began raining almost as soon as we arrived, so we spent more time at lunch than touring the city. We had to have looked hilarious; eight girls running down the mountainside and slipping on wet cobblestones all the way. The wine served at our next stop made up for it though...sweet, slightly dry, and delicious!
