Vrtec Vodmat Kindergarten - First Site of the Day

We visited three different schools today and Vrtec Vodmat Kindergarten opened my eyes to a new style of teaching and instruction. It is amazing how the students learn and participate at Vrtec Vodmat. We toured the school and the classrooms, and they were like nothing I have ever seen before. All of the classrooms had this amazing natural lighting along with plants, children's portfolios, a large play area for children to climb on, children's art work, and creative ways of displaying things such as the children's birthdays. I really liked how one of the teachers implemented Mathematics, Literacy, and Science all in one lesson. I thought it was amazing to see the children so involved in the lesson and helping one another when needed. I learned so much from this visit and will without a doubt take back these ideas and instructional strategies to implement them in my future early childhood classroom.
