Lake Bled

Today, our Sunday adventure was traveling and enduring the wonders of Lake Bled. We got to learn about how it became an island. I thought it was pretty amazing that the water was so crisp and clear. It was also very cool seeing how big the fish are that swim in the lake. Towards the end of our free time, instead of going and trying the honey, I went up to the bell tower in the castle of which was absolutely breathtaking. The views in Slovenia in general are just so beautiful. I also liked learning that on top of the alsip was the border between Slovenia and Austria. I thought that was an interesting fact that I hadn't known before. Urban mentioned in the car ride on the way up to the castle that to cross any border coming from Slovenia it takes about an hour and a half no matter which way you go. Thus, basically explicating that Slovenia is a very small country, but still very beautiful. Tomorrow will be an exciting day because we will be going to the University hearing some psychology presentations. Until next time!
