Lake Bled has to be one of the most gorgeous, breathtaking views I have ever witnessed. The hills and valleys surround you completely but seem to go on forever. First, we sailed on a small boat to the island in the middle of the lake. I sat on a dock at the back of the island with my feet dipped into the crystal clear water. Then, we hiked up a small mountain to a castle. From the top of that castle, it seemed like the entire world was laid out before us. These weekend day trips have been absolutely amazing, and I'm incredibly sad that we will have to leave Slovenia in only three more days.
